Man Accused of Kidnapping Linda Stolzfoos Pleads Not Guilty
The man accused of kidnapping Linda Stolzfoos is waiving his scheduled arraignment and pleaded not guilty to charges of kidnapping and false imprisonment in the case of the 18-year-old Amish girl who disappeared in late June.
Prosecutors allege that Justo Smoker, 34, of Paradise, kidnapped Stoltzfoos, who is still missing. Smoker is being held without bail at Lancaster County Prison.

The last time Stolzfoos was seen, she was walking home on Beechdale Road from church, in the area of Bird-in-Hand in Upper Leacock.
Prosecutors say their evidence includes that Smoker is seen on a private resident’s video surveillance, showing him near what looks like Stoltzfoos.
The girl’s undergarments were buried near where Smoker’s vehicle was spotted that afternoon. Her fate remains unknown.
