Report: More Than 1,700 Abortions in PA Since Gov. Wolf Declared Planned Parenthood a ‘Life-Sustaining Business’
Planned Parenthood's $2.5M investment in Gov. Wolf is paying big dividends in human life
They’re doing great work every day at the Pennsylvania Family Institute. I encourage everyone to check them out.
This one headline on their blog caught my eye.
We truly live in an Orwellian dystopia when it comes to the abortion zealots in charge.
On March 19, Governor Tom Wolf issued his “life-sustaining businesses” list, which, in part, prohibited all elective surgical procedures by hospitals as well as ambulatory surgical facilities.
Planned Parenthood is considered an ambulatory surgical facility in Pennsylvania. …
Despite Governor Wolf’s order to cease all elective surgical procedures, he gave Planned Parenthood, the state’s largest abortion business, special treatment by allowing their elective abortion operation to continue during the COVID-19 crisis.
They report that in the 40 days between March 19 and April 27, Planned Parenthood has performed 1,714 abortions, and made close to $750,000 in revenues from these procedures.
* Based on past average reporting data sent to the PA Department of Health.
$745,590 – Estimated revenue from these abortions.
* Low estimate based on the charge of $435 per chemical abortion (some PA locations charge $500) or surgical abortion before 12 weeks.
The absurdity of this exemption goes beyond abortion, too. On March 24th, Planned Parenthood in PA pleaded for private donations of personal protective equipment (PPE) for performing elective abortions.
This is insanity. Gov. Wolf’s draconian lockdown is bad enough, but the fact that he designated Planned Parenthood a “life-sustaining business” beggars belief.
Well, it does until you realize that Planned Parenthood and their affiliated PAC spent a record $2.5 million in 2018 to help re-elect Governor Wolf, who himself is a former Planned Parenthood volunteer.
